These private one-on-one surf lessons help individuals feel comfortable in the water and progress at their own pace. Lessons take place at Ukumehame Beach (“1000 Peaks”) between Kihei and Lahaina.

Suitable for all ages who can swim and are motivated to learn. Children under 8 require prior discussion. The 1.5-hour session includes a private experienced instructor, soft top surfboards selected for height, weight, and ability, long sleeve rash guards, and a digital photo package.

Guests should bring reef-safe sunscreen; instructors provide some if needed. Athletic leggings are recommended for ladies to protect from rashes. Note that there are no restroom facilities at the exact meeting location; porta-potties are nearby at Ukumehame Beach park.
