Private Surf Lessons in Hauula
Sunset Suzy’s Hawaiian Surf School offers private 1:1 surf lessons on Oahu for beginners and intermediate surfers. Lessons often take place at lesser-known or “secret” North Shore spots to avoid crowds and match your skill level and ocean conditions.
Lessons are offered daily at 10 am, 12 pm, and 2:30 pm, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours. All surfing equipment including surfboards, leashes, and rash guards are provided. Expect to surf in a beautiful protected cove with gentle beginner waves similar to Waikiki but with fewer people and more scenic surroundings. Hawaiian sea turtles are commonly seen swimming nearby.
Bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, towel, and sense of adventure.
