Private Surf Lessons at Kalama Park, Kihei

Experience private 1-on-1 surf lessons with Waves Hawaii, the smallest and most exclusive surf school in South Maui. Lessons begin with a warm aloha, ocean safety briefing, and land instruction before heading into the water.

All surf equipment including board, reef shoes, and rash guard are provided. Lessons are offered at 7:30am and 9:30am; 12pm lessons are available by request due to typical wind conditions. Suitable for all ages, including very young children.

Check-in is 5 minutes before the lesson at the Waves Hawaii Surf School Van at Kalama Park across from Aloha gas station. Photos and board rentals are available.
