Private Surf Lessons on Oahu

Sunset Suzy’s Hawaiian Surf School provides private surf lessons tailored for beginners and intermediate surfers. With a 1:1 student to instructor ratio, lessons take place at lesser-known or “secret” surf spots to avoid crowds and match your skill level and ocean conditions.

Lessons are 1.5 hours long and offered daily at 10 am, 12 pm, and 2:30 pm. All surfing equipment including surfboards, leashes, and rash guards are provided. Most lessons occur at a protected cove on the North Shore with gentle beginner waves similar to Waikiki but with fewer people and more beautiful scenery.

Bring your swimsuit, sunscreen, and towel. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
