Recreational Avelo Diver (RAD) Specialty Certification
This course is for certified divers aged 10 years and older through a valid training agency. Participants must bring fins, mask, and snorkel; a $60 fee applies if renting these items. An upgrade to a Private Open Water Course is available for an additional fee per student.
The Private Open Water Course is ideal for those who are uncomfortable in the water, youngsters needing extra time, seniors 65+, individuals with minor learning disabilities, or anyone requiring extra help. The course offers quality instruction in the warm tropical waters of Hilo on Hawaii’s Big Island, known for beautiful coral reefs, vibrant reef fish, sea turtles, and octopus sightings.
The PADI Open Water Diver Certification earned here is globally recognized, allowing diving worldwide.
