The Rescue Diver Certification in Honolulu is regarded as one of the most challenging yet rewarding scuba courses. It prepares divers to prevent and manage problems underwater, boosting confidence and safety.
Course Content and Skills
Through knowledge development and practical rescue exercises, you learn to recognize and manage stress in divers, perform self-rescue, manage emergencies, and assist panicked or unresponsive divers. The course includes serious training balanced with engaging and enjoyable learning experiences.
Eligibility and Additional Training
Applicants must be PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers aged 12 or older who have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive. Emergency First Response (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months is required; if not completed prior, it can be done during the course. The PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider specialty may also be offered concurrently.
