Discover Scuba from Shore is a beginner-friendly scuba diving experience offered by Dive Maui in Lahaina, Hawaii. This 3-hour program introduces participants to scuba diving with professional guidance and hands-on practice in the ocean.

Experience Overview

The experience includes a short briefing and reading session followed by practical dive training. Participants enjoy up to 1 hour underwater using one tank, with all scuba equipment provided. The group size is limited to a maximum of 4 divers per instructor to ensure personalized attention.

Requirements and Location

This shore dive meets at the Dive Maui shop and proceeds with a short walk into the ocean. Participants must be at least 10 years old, comfortable swimming, able to carry 35 lbs of gear, and cleared medically for diving. The program includes all PADI materials and a PADI instructor guide.

Additional Information

Optional add-ons such as dive lights and GoPro rentals are available. The dive uses standard 80 CF tanks, with smaller tanks upon request. A 48-hour cancellation policy applies, and participants should complete required coursework before the dive.
