Semi-Private Surf Lesson in Hanalei Bay

Book your semi-private surf lesson today to learn basic and applied surfing skills in Hanalei Bay. All students receive a soft top surfboard, leash, and rashguard. More experienced surfers can upgrade their surfboard through Kauai Surfboard Rentals at a discount.

The lesson includes 30 minutes of land-based skill training covering paddling, positioning, stand-ups, lineup etiquette, ocean safety, and ocean recognition. This is followed by 60 minutes of ocean-based applied learning to practice your new skills on the waves.

Mornings are recommended for better surfing conditions with fewer crowds. Students also receive a discount for future surfboard rentals to continue practicing independently.
