The Semi-Private Surfing Lesson offers a safe and fun way to learn surfing at Po’ipu Beach. This 90-minute lesson is designed for small groups of two to three students, ensuring personalized attention from fully trained and certified instructors.

Lesson Structure and Equipment

The lesson begins with a land-based demonstration covering surfing basics, followed by one hour in the water where the instructor assists with catching and riding waves. Soft surfboards, booties, and rash guards are provided to all participants.

Scheduling and Pricing

Lessons are available daily at 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm. The cost is $300 per booking regardless of group size within the two to three person limit. Check-in is at the poolside kiosk at the Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort, located at 2251 Poipu Rd., Po’ipu Beach, 10 minutes prior to the lesson time.
