Shark and Turtle Dive for Certified Divers from Shore in Maui
Explore the vibrant marine life at Mala Wharf, Maui’s premier shore dive site, known for its resident turtle population (honu) and white tip reef sharks. Dive Maui guarantees turtle sightings or offers a second dive free.
The dive includes all scuba equipment, guided instruction by a PADI professional, and up to one hour of dive time. Smaller tanks are available upon request. Maximum group size is four divers per instructor to ensure personalized attention.
Mala Wharf features abundant marine species including large schools of fish, octopus, eels, nudibranchs, and frogfish. The site is a short walk from the dive shop and offers a rich underwater experience.
Check-in Times: 7:30 AM and 12:00 PM
Meeting Point: 1223 Front St., Lahaina, HI 96761
Diver Requirements: Minimum age 10, certified open water diver, comfortable swimming in ocean, able to carry 35 lbs of gear.
