Instruction covers fish identification, fish preservation, gun safety, breath holding techniques, and hunting strategies. Approximately 2 hours are spent in the water, allowing students to practice skills while enjoying snorkeling and fishing in beautiful locations.
Equipment and Meeting Point
All necessary spearfishing gear is provided, including gun, mask, snorkel, fins, wet suit, weight belt, and gloves. The lesson typically begins at 7:00 a.m. at the snorkel rental and gift shop north of Ka’anapali on West Maui.
