The lesson begins with a personalized land session covering paddling techniques, stance, ocean safety, wave selection, and how to pop up on the board. In the water, your instructor offers unwavering 1:1 support, providing immediate feedback and adjustments to maximize your wave-catching potential. All necessary surfing equipment is included, such as surfboard, fins, leash, rash guard, and reef shoes.

This 1.5-hour private lesson is suitable for guests aged 2 and older, with a maximum group size of 5 to maintain exclusivity. The meeting point is at Jamie O’Brien Surf Experience Surf Shop, located at the ground level of Ritz Carlton Oahu Turtle Bay, 57-091 Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI. Guests can cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before the lesson, with a 24-hour policy for Ritz Carlton guests.
