Surf Lessons at Ala Moana Beach Park

Learn how to surf in a fun, supportive environment at Ala Moana Beach Park, where the water is warm and spacious, away from crowded Waikiki beaches. Lessons include round-trip transportation from Waikiki hotels.

Lesson Options:

• One-hour or two-hour lessons
• Private one-on-one lessons designed for children aged 3 to 11

Lessons begin with a land demonstration followed by ocean practice. Depending on the child’s weight and ability, tandem surfing or surfing alongside the instructor is provided. The instructor stays with the child throughout the lesson to ensure safety and effective learning.

What to Bring: Swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen. Rashguard, reef shoes, and surfboard rental are included free with the lesson.
