These 1.5 hour private and semi-private surf lessons cater to surfers aged 9 and older at Kauai Surf School’s Beach Activity Hut on Kiahuna Plantation Resort in Poipu. Children under 4 may join semi-private lessons if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Lesson Schedule and Inclusions

Lessons are offered at 8am, 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and during summer also at 4pm. Each session includes the use of a surfboard and a UV protective rash guard. Private lessons are one-on-one, while semi-private lessons accommodate 2-3 surfers with one instructor.

Swimming Requirement

All participants must know how to swim. The lessons focus on skill development in a personalized setting.
