Poipu Beach Surf School provides 1.5-hour beginner surf lessons at Kiahuna Beach, perfect for first-time surfers or those with little experience. Group lessons accommodate 1 to 8 people with a maximum of 4 surfers per instructor.
Semi-private lessons are available for groups of 2-3 people, offering a more personalized experience for friends or family. Private lessons, recommended for children ages 6 to 10, provide one-on-one instruction to maximize wave time and skill development.
Note that group lessons do not offer refunds if students cannot complete the lesson due to ability. Prices vary by lesson type, with semi-private lessons costing $150 per person and private lessons $225 per person.
