Welcome to Sea & Board Sports Hawaii, where you can learn the ancient Hawaiian tradition of “he’e nalu” or wave-sliding. These beginner surf lessons are designed for those new to surfing or those who have never tried it before. Professional instructors provide guidance throughout the session, focusing on safety and enjoyment.

Lessons are approximately two hours long and available as private, semi-private, or small group sessions. The North Shore of Oahu, known for its excellent surfing spots, is the ideal location to catch your first wave. Instruction covers fundamentals such as reading the surf zone, surfing etiquette, timing, catching waves, and transitioning from paddling to standing.
