The surfing lesson in Koloa offers a fun and safe way to learn surfing at Po’ipu Beach. This 90-minute group lesson is designed for beginners aged 8 and up. It combines expert instruction with a friendly atmosphere to help you catch your first waves.
Lesson Details and Schedule
Lessons run daily at 8:00am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm. Each session includes a land lesson and demonstration, followed by one hour in the water with a certified instructor. Soft surfboards, booties, and rash guards are provided for your comfort and safety.
What to Expect in Your Group Surfing Lesson
Small groups of up to four students ensure personalized attention while fostering a social learning environment. The instructors guide you through the basics of surfing, helping you build confidence and skills on the waves. Check-in is at the poolside kiosk at the Ko’a Kea Hotel & Resort, 10 minutes before your lesson.
