Designed for sailors who have completed ASA 101 and ASA 103, this intermediate course prepares participants to skipper or crew a 30- to 45-foot sloop-rigged, auxiliary-powered keelboat in coastal waters.
The course includes instruction and hands-on learning covering piloting, dead reckoning, docking, system troubleshooting, maintenance, navigation, cruise planning, weather forecasts, and overnight anchoring with two nights spent onboard.
