All necessary gear is provided, including kayak rentals, life vests, snorkeling equipment, water, and snacks. The tour is suitable for physically active kayakers aged 13 and older. Permits for the bird sanctuary are included, and advance reservations are required due to limited availability.

Check-in is at the Kailua Storefront 15 minutes before the tour start, where you’ll receive a safety demonstration, route description, kayaking lessons, and a brief cultural history. Guides will assist with loading kayaks onto vehicles and provide all equipment needed for the day.
