Advanced 3 Tank Dive in Honolulu

The advanced 3 tank dive is a certified boat dive charter operated by Island Divers Hawaii Kai in Honolulu. This morning dive trip typically includes two deeper wreck dives followed by a drift dive along a wall or reef site. Divers have the opportunity to explore some of Hawaii’s most famous wrecks—eight options are available—as well as sea caves and beautiful deep walls, offering some of the best scuba diving experiences in the area.

What to Expect During the Dive

Participants begin by arriving at the shop located at 377 Keahole St Suite 101, Honolulu, where they complete check-in and sign waivers. After meeting the dive guide, divers try on rental equipment including wetsuits, fins, and masks. Once onboard the boat, the Captain provides a safety briefing before heading out to the first dive site, starting with the deepest dive first. The dive guide briefs divers on what to expect at each site.

After the first dive, there is a surface interval lasting 45 to 60 minutes. During this time, divers can enjoy snacks and stay hydrated with water provided onboard. The boat then moves to the next dive site, where the guide offers another briefing. Following the final dive, hot minty towels are provided to help warm divers and remove salt as the boat returns to the marina.
