The advanced 3 tank dive in Honolulu with Island Divers Hawaii Kai is a certified boat dive charter designed for experienced divers. This morning dive typically includes two deeper wreck dives followed by a drift dive on a wall or reef site. Divers explore some of Hawaii’s best scuba diving locations, including up to eight famous wrecks, sea caves, and beautiful deep walls. On days with favorable weather, the dive may extend eastward to exclusive, rarely dived sites.

What to Expect During the Dive

Participants begin by arriving at the shop located at 377 Keahole St Suite 101, Honolulu, where they check in and sign waivers. After meeting the dive guide and trying on rental equipment such as wetsuits, fins, and masks, divers board the boat for a safety briefing from the captain. The first dive site is usually the deepest, with the dive guide providing a detailed briefing on what to expect.

After the first dive, there is a surface interval of 45 to 60 minutes during which guests can enjoy snacks and stay hydrated. The boat then moves to the next dive site, where another briefing is given before the second dive. Following the final dive, hot minty towels are provided to help divers warm up and remove salt before returning to the marina.
