The advanced open water certification course is designed for divers ready to improve their skills and explore new diving challenges. This course includes five dives focusing on navigation, buoyancy control, deep diving, and three elective adventure dives chosen by the participant.
Course Structure and Schedule
The course typically runs over two days. Day one starts at 7:00 a.m. with navigation and elective dives from shore, while day two begins at 6:10 a.m. with deep and additional elective dives from a boat. The course concludes around midday with certification paperwork and logbook completion.
Preparation and Requirements
Prior to the course, divers must complete digital course materials purchased separately through PADI. The course fee includes instruction and gear, with additional costs for digital materials. Flexible scheduling is available upon request.
