Hands-On Learn to Sail Instruction in Honolulu
Learn to Sail Honolulu provides customizable, hands-on sailing instruction led by USCG licensed captains. Guests check in at Kewalo Harbor 15-20 minutes before departure to meet their captain and receive a safety and sailing overview.
Sailing Experience Options
Instruction is available aboard a luxury-equipped Jeanneau 43′ sloop-rigged monohull yacht or a 40′ Scape Sailing Catamaran. The monohull session costs $595 for 3 hours and is limited to 4 guests to ensure hands-on opportunities. The catamaran session offers exciting speed and performance with easy sail trimming for $995, also limited to 4 guests.
What You Will Learn
Participants practice steering, trimming sails, tacking, maneuvering, and understanding wind direction. The session includes scenic cruising along the Waikiki coastline, providing a beautiful backdrop for learning.
Booking and Cancellation
Customers must check in at Kewalo Harbor and will receive a full refund with 72 hours’ notice of cancellation. Refunds are also provided for operator cancellations due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
