Shark’s Cove Shore Dive Overview

The Shark’s Cove Shore Dive is a seasonal scuba diving experience available from May through August in Honolulu. This 1 tank guided dive is designed for both beginners and certified divers interested in exploring Oahu’s pristine off-shore reefs. Beginners participate in a PADI Discovery Experience, starting with basic skills in shallow water before descending to a maximum depth of 40 feet. Certified divers enjoy a regular guided dive with depths up to 60 feet.

Experience Details

No prior swimming or diving experience is required, making this dive accessible to newcomers. It also serves as a PADI refresher for certified divers who want to regain underwater confidence. The dive duration ranges from 2 to 2.5 hours. Per PADI safety regulations, only certified divers may carry cameras or cell phones underwater. A GoPro camera package is available for purchase to capture the dive.

Safety and Equipment

All necessary gear is provided, and participants receive thorough instruction before the dive. The guided format ensures professional supervision throughout the experience, prioritizing diver safety.
