SSI Open Water Diver Certification Course

The SSI Open Water Diver course offered by Ocean Therapy Charters in Honolulu is a globally recognized certification program. It combines personalized training with in-water practice to prepare you for safe and confident scuba diving. The course is designed for busy individuals needing a flexible schedule over 3 to 4 days.

Course Structure and Inclusions

The training includes SSI eLearn materials, DAN student insurance coverage, and all necessary scuba gear such as regulator, BCD, wetsuit, mask, fins, and snorkel. The program features a confined water session, two shore dives, and two boat dives. Scheduling is flexible, with the first weekend covering orientation and confined water, and the second weekend completing open water dives. An optional make-up shore dive is available if needed.

Additional Information

Participants must consider transportation, parking fees, and potential rescheduling or additional training fees. The course is open to divers aged 10 and older, with a maximum group size of six to ensure personalized attention.

Upon completion, you will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification, opening the door to lifelong underwater adventures.
