The 5-day classic course also offers two and a half hours of daily instruction, with non-consecutive days allowed to accommodate vacation schedules. This course is popular among locals who attend one day per week over five weeks. Both courses cover wind theory, balance, rope-start, beginner sailing, self-launch, and quick-exit techniques.

Location and Equipment

Lessons take place at Kanaha Beach Park on Alaho Street, Kahului. Instruction is available Monday through Saturday, excluding Sundays and public holidays. The school provides PFD jackets, rashguard shirts, and neoprene booties along with basic windsurf gear.
