The West Oahu Mauka Makai experience is an epic 8-hour adventure combining mountain hiking with ocean sailing and snorkeling. This private tour is ideal for families and offers a unique Rainforest to Reef journey on Oahu’s west side.

The tour begins with a private 1.5-mile beginner hike on a secluded trail at 2,400 feet elevation in the Wai‘anae mountains. This active restoration site features endemic plant species and spectacular views of Nanakuli Valley. After the hike, guests relax at a picnic overlook with provided snacks and fruit.

Sailing and Snorkeling on the Leeward Coast

Following the hike, participants sail and snorkel aboard a 53-foot double-hulled yacht departing from Ko Olina marina. The clear blue waters offer opportunities to snorkel with turtles and tropical reef fish. On Sundays, a delicious lunch and three complimentary cocktails for guests 21 and over are included.
